State Bird Drawings are due this Thursday.  Please see your child's  planner for the assignment details.  The flags looked great!  Fifth graders have the additional task of writing three good sentences about their state's bird: facts, history, how it was chosen, when it was chosen. Fourth graders may do this for a few bonus points, but it isn't required.

Next week's state report notebook assignment is a place of interest.  This is a fairly simple assignment for which I provide easy to follow guidelines.  The criteria will be stapled in the planners tomorrow.

Fifth graders have a biography report which we have spent 4 hours on computers typing in class.  Most have nearly finished or are on the home stretch, so flash drives will be coming home tonight, Wednesday, January 23, 2013.  These are due on Friday. We might have a tiny bit of time to type tomorrow, but it depends on computer usage by other classes;  we have had them a great deal this week!
